- A newly created financial controller position to manage some of their international energy plantations currently being constructed
- There are no people management responsibilities but you will be managing internal and external stakeholders

With a large network of treatment and recycling facilities worldwide, they are well placed to provide solutions to businesses regarding some of today's most complex environmental challenges.
Description
- Reporting in to the regional FD you will be responsible for month end, including preparation, input, and validation of journal entries including payroll and accruals
- Report variances in financial statements each month
- Prepare staturory accounts under IFRS
- Review balance sheet accounts and reconciliations
- Interact with auditors
- Help prepare budgets and forecasts
- Prepare VAT returns
- Support tax team and external advisors
- Work with faciltiies mgmt team on queries relating to projects
- Support AP/AR teams with submissions
- Have full ownership for the financials of your assets (energy plants)
Profile
- Min 5 years PQE
- External audit experience would be helpful
- Having worked in a multinational organisation would be helpful
- Having experience in a capital intensive business would be desirable
- Project accounting would be useful
- Extensive experience with preparation of financial statements, statutory reports and consolidation would be ideal
- US GAAP is a nice to have and IFRS is essential
