Interim Accountant, Remote Working


Your new company
Our not for profit client are looking to recruit an interim Accountant for a period of about 6 months reporting into the Finance Manager

Your new role
You will develop, review annual Revenue and Capital budgets. along with supporting budget holders in preparing their budget plans and in year revenue and capital budget monitoring robust and timely financial and performance information and advice to the Senior Leadership Team and budget holders. Support budget holders and project managers to develop proposals and business cases ensuring that financial implications (costs and benefits) are clearly identified and properly assessed. Maintain a full understanding of the financial management and control framework including tax compliance and other statutory requirements. and ensure that these are properly understood and being applied appropriately across the service. Work with the Finance Manager and budget holders to ensure the timely and compliant closure of the Authority's accounts and preparation of the Annual Statement of Accounts..

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be a qualified or part qualified ACCA, ACA, or CIMA accountant with extensive experience gained within the not for profit sector. You will have worked with budget holders in all aspects of budget management. You will have the ability to organise and prioritise work in order to might deadlines. Excellent communication skills are a must.
