Management Accountant
Salary: £38,000 - £42,000
Location: Salford, Manchester
A highly successful and global company based in Salford are seeking a Management Accountant to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. The Group is expanding rapidly and are seeking an ambitious individual capable of producing month end accounts. This is a great opportunity with a high degree of visibility and exposure.
Working in a shared service centre environment and within a team of 6, you will be responsible for:
- Production of monthly management accounts pack complete with commentary
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Accruals / Prepayments
- Management of the company's cash flow models
- Creation of the yearly financial budget, quarterly forecasts and financial projections
- Management of all manufacturer and customer rebates
- Reviewing finance processes to identify efficiencies
- Work closely with all functions of the business to ensure tight control of all overhead areas and finance processes
- Business partnering with key departments within the Company to drive reporting and efficiencies
- Management of the fixed asset register
Ideal candidate:
- CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified
- Minimum 2 years in a similar management accounts focused role
- Ambitious, personable and driven
