They have carved a niche by identifying clients with the potential to grow and investing in developing long term relationships and a number of their clients have enjoyed significant growth over the years.

The client base is varied and sits accross a number of industry sectors and and client's sweetspot is businesses in the £15M - £70M turnover range so you can expect to have exposure to director level contacts within these.

Team fit is essential and the client is all about collaboration whilst making sure that people are still confident thinking for themselves and acting proactively when required.

Description:

Joining as Assistant Manager and reporting to the Audit Director, you will be responsible for aspects of managing, controlling and conducting the audit fieldwork - most notably day to day management of junior staff and being the initial point of contact for client queries. The Director is responsible for planning audits and setting budgets, but in time you will have the opportunity to assist with this and ultimately grow into the position where you can take these on.

Profile:

  • A graduate, ACA / ACCA qualified, with a high level of experience of audit, within an accountancy practice environment
  • Newly Qualified or Qualified with several years PQE experience, operating at Audit Senior, Supervisor or Assistant Manager level
  • A demonstrable background with a small, medium or large independent accounting firm or a larger Top 50 / Top Tier firm are all acceptable as long as you can demonstrate experience of supervising junior team members and engaging with FC / FD level contacts.
