Finance Business Partner - Wetherby

This business is a market leading, specialist business services company, offering a range of services across a number of sectors. With a turnover approaching £100m, this business has experienced significant growth in recent years due to a number of successful, strategic management initiatives. Headquartered in Wetherby, the business are contunally growing and now have multiple locations across the UK.

Based at their Head Office in Wetherby the business are now seeking to appoint a highly skilled, commercially focused, Finance Business Partner, to report directly to the Group Financial Controller.

THE JOB:

The role of Finance Business Partner will be wide ranging offered fantastic commercial exposure. The key duties of this role will include:

• Analysis of customer pricing and profitability, review of the cost base and process profitability
• Provide support to the Commercial and Operations Directors, wider commercial and operations teams and other stakeholders
• Identify and help drive improvements to processes and reporting
• Provide support to bids, tenders and projects
• Perform post project appraisals
• Review of cost allocations in the management accounts
• Production of weekly flash and KPIs
• Production of monthly management accounts, annual business plan and quarterly forecasts
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Reconciliation between standard costs and management accounts
• Any other reasonable duties as and when required

THE PERSON:

The successful candidate will:

• Be ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified (finalists will also be considered) - Essential
• Have a good knowledge of preparation of management accounts, business plans and forecasts - Essential
• Have previous experience of building relationships with a wide-range of stakeholders - Essential
• Have the ability to manipulate of large datasets to produce clear and concise conclusions - Essential
