Commercial Finance Analyst - North Leeds

THE COMPANY:

This business is a well known market leading brand within the retail and manufacturing sector, who have a global presence, and multiple sites across the UK. They have fantastic Head Offices based on the outskirts of Leeds, where this role will be based, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. The business have experienced significant growth over the last 12 months, and as a result are now looking to hire a Commercial Finance Analyst in to a newly created role.

This opportunity is ideally suited to an ambitious and driven graduate, trainee accountant or early stages CIMA studier, looking to join a growing and fast paced business, that can offer full study support for CIMA and clear career progression with full training!

THE JOB:

This role will be responsible for the following key duties:

• Hands on financial support and point of contact for the commercial and finance teams
• Business partnering with the Leeds based Sales Team
• Provide support with investment requests, business cases, interpreting results/KPIs and scenario analysis
• Ad hoc support (including Project Work) for the Finance Director and Commercial Finance Manager
• Weekly and Monthly KPI reporting
• Provide insight and analysis for internal stakeholders
• Attend regional meetings and offer insight into store performance and trends

THE PERSON:

The successful candidate will:

• Educated to a degree level or equivalent (AAT) and either started, or looking to start CIMA - Essential
• Have a minimum of 6 months within a relevant finance role - Essential
• Have an advanced knowledge of MS Excel - Essential
• Have the ability and desire to work within fast paced, commercial environment - Essential
• Have exceptional communication and presentation skills - Essential
