Finance Assistant / Sales Ledger - Wakefield
Based in Wakefield, this growing business within the manufacturing sector benefits from a great reputation within their sector. They are looking for a bright and capable Sales Ledger Clerk / Finance Assistant to join their friendly team and support the Financial Controller
This varied and interesting role will include the following duties:
- Raise invoices.
- Working with different trading entities
- Post daily cash receipts.
- Chase up allocation of payments on account.
- Set up weekly and monthly direct debit collections.
- Deal with billing queries.
- Invoice discounting
- Multi-currency transactions
- Liaise with Client on debt queries.
- Investigate unidentified cash receipts and post correctly to ledgers.
- Sales ledger / finance assistant experience
- Excellent written and verbal skills are essential
- Friendly and approachable
- The ability to prioritise workloads, work to deadlines, and manage time efficiently is required
- You must have strong numerical skills, and a high degree of accuracy with data
- 24 days holiday
