Project Accountant | Merseyside
18-month contract | Up to £50,000 pro rata
A leading, multi award-winning organisation within their market is looking for an experienced and qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) Project Accountant to join its high-performance team due to continued growth and expansion. Based in Merseyside, this is a full-time, 18-month fixed term contract role.
Your New Role
Working amongst an experienced project team, you will be responsible for:
- Playing a lead role preparing the monthly management and financial accounts
- Providing detailed monthly variance analysis and key business KPI insights
- Supporting the organisation’s continuous improvement culture
About You
Applications are sought from fully qualified ACA, ACCA and CIMA Accountants who demonstrate:
- Strong communication skills, able to liaise with senior stakeholders and budget holders across the Group
- Good analytical experience
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- SAP experience (advantageous)
- The ability to work effectively across a complex / multi-entity group structure
- Strong knowledge of UK and International reporting standards (IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAPP) is an advantage
Salary
On offer for the Project Accountant is a competitive pro rata salary equivalent to £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
