A renowned, established and award-winning organisation based in Merseyside is looking for an ambitious, hands-on and commercial Head of Finance to lead the team. This is a full-time, permanent role paying up to £55,000 per year.

Your New Role

Reporting directly into the Finance Director, the Head of Finance will:

• Manage a small finance team whom you will continue to mentor and develop whilst leading from the front with your hands-on approach.
• Pioneer a new and improved way of working across your team, encouraging continuous improvements and challenging 'the way things have always been done' culture.
• Be hands-on and responsible for the overall financial management and reporting.
• Lead the monthly financial reporting and provide detailed analysis to the board.
• Encourage and develop relationships with key budget holders across the group, to drive collaboration and wider business improvements.

About You

Applications to this Head of Finance role are invited from fully qualified CIMA, ACCA and ACA candidates who demonstrate:

• Previous experience working in a financial management role, driving efficiencies and making improvements
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (including financial modelling)
• Passionate, ambitious and commercially minded

Salary

On offer for the Head of Finance will be a competitive salary of £50,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
