Let us tell you a little bit about the role....

Reporting directly to the Head of Financial Accounting, this role is responsible for driving performance improvement and implementing efficient processes across Financial Accounting.

This includes embedding and ensuring CQC maximises the effectiveness of financial systems and shared service provision, which are aligned to and deliver the Financial Accounting Shared Service and Data strategy.

 

What we're looking for from you...

In this role you will lead on ensuring user needs are realised, and metrics are reported within the function and across the organisation to provide excellent financial insight and assurance to the business, enabling effective decision making aligned to CQC’s purpose.

You will work with others to help remove obstacles raised by the Financial Accounting team and the wider business and hold the team to account for their performance, and will be responsible for managing, monitoring and delivering the Shared Business Services contract
