The Company
Our client is an award-winning business, renowned for their commitment to their customers and supporting environment for employees. Due to their continued success and expansion, a new position has been created for a Hedge Accounting Manager.
The Role
This is a broad-ranging treasury accounting role where you'll take the lead in reporting the performance of treasury financial instruments both internally and externally. You will apply the requirements of IAS39/IFRS 9 and prepare hedge documentation. You will also drive change programmes and process improvements and contribute to the on-going strategy for the team.
The Person
Professionally qualified (ACA/ACCA/ACMA) you will have strong knowledge of hedge accounting and applying requirements of IAS 39/ IFRS 9.
Experience of using a hedge accounting software package such as Quantum, Bloomberg, QRM (or similar) would be a distinct advantage
Experience of preparing statutory financial reporting
Exceptional system skills including advanced use of Excel
