Hays are pleased to be supporting a market leading construction business who are now seeking to appoint a Finance Manager to be based at their new offices in Milton Keynes. This interesting and varied position will predominantly involve producing regular financial and management reports across a number of high value construction projects, ensuring high levels of accuracy, quality and integrity for a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Reporting to the CFO, key responsibilities will include:
- managing the contractor payment process, including all matters related to CIS
- supporting build budget's alongside the development of various reporting dashboards
- maintaining appropriate project cost controls identifying where interventions may be required
- responsibility for all cost and margin analysis related to new and proposed developments
The position would suit and a fully ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified or qualified by experience Finance Manager with experience gained from working in the construction or a directly related sector.
You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial personnel. Well organised with good time management skills you will be able to prioritise deadlines, be flexible and able to adapt to the needs of the business.
