Interim Financial Controller

Interim to permanent financial controller job opportunity based close to the centre of Guildford, Surrey.


Your new company
You will be joining a well established group based close to Guildford in their head office. This interim position will be overseeing all the finances of a key division and reporting to the MD

Your new role
Working closely with the MD and Head of finance you will be a key part of a small team, taking on a broad role covering all areas of finance for one of the business units; preparing management accounts, budgets, forecasts, overseeing transactional reporting, input to strategic planning as well as overseeing the year end audit and supporting the group as required.

What you'll need to succeed
In addition to your professional accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / equivalent) you should have strong exposure to all areas of finance at senior level (experience of working in a listed company advantageous) and be comfortable reporting straight into the Directors. Flexibility to travel across the UK to key sites 1-2 days a month is important.
