Financial Reporting Analyst, Hull

£35 - £40,000 + Bonus + Excellent Contributory Pension + PMI + DIS + IPI

Hays Accountancy & Finance is delighted to be working in partnership with this manufacturing business to appoint a qualified Financial Reporting Analyst at their site in Hull.

The business is successful and established, is one of the market leaders in their field throughout the world, is an Investor in People and supports a number of local charities.

Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a varied role, which will include the following duties and responsibilities:
Preparing the monthly management accounts pack and the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting pack for the group
Assisting with the annual budget preparation and quarterly forecasts
Preparing monthly sales analysis and reports
Monthly stock costs and reconciliation
Reviewing overheads against budget
Raw material usage costing calculation
Assisting with the preparation of the year end audit file and the preparation of the statutory accounts under IFRS
Preparation of the annual tax pack information
Preparing quarterly group consolidation information
Monthly capital expenditure analysis and reporting

What you will need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with sound experience of the production of management accounts, you will ideally have experience of financial reporting and you will possess strong excel skills. Experience of working in manufacturing would be useful, but not essential.

What you will get in return
You will receive a competitive starting salary of between £35,000 and £40,000 per annum. In addition, you will receive an excellent benefits package which includes a bonus of approximately 10%, a company pension scheme which the employer contributes 12% to and the employee contributes 3% to, 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), private medical insurance, death in service and income protection insurance.

The business also works a compressed 9 day fortnight, giving you every other Friday off. Their hours of work are 7 to 4 Monday to Thursday with 30 minutes for lunch, 7 to 3pm one Friday with the next Friday off.
