A highly successful firm of chartered accountants based in Bristol area is searching for a Senior Manager / Director to join their team with opportunity to progress in your career taking a lead on client relationships, managing a portfolio, service delivery & developing a wider team. The client base will have a focus dealing with Medical sector clients, GPs, consultants and other related clients.

Client Details

Based in Bristol this leading regional firm of chartered accountants is undergoing continued growth and planning for the ongoing future success and growth of its business. Due to a combination of new growth through both organic new client growth and mergers, there is a clear need to invest and further develop this office to take full advantage of the firms ongoing success. The firm is looking for an all around, general accountancy practice professional who can lead the development and growth of a specialist service line within this office. The firm's clients as a whole are wide ranging in sector, turnover and industry range, from entrepreneurial start ups, sole traders, partnerships, along with more significant proportion of OMBs and SMEs and corporate clients across varied industry sectors, along with a growing medical sector acting for wide ranging GPs, consultants and other associated medical and healthcare clients. This role will focus on developing and leading the growth of the medical service arm, with a clear route to progress on offer.

Description

Based from the firms Bristol offices, the successful addition will join at either Senior Manager / Director level dependent on the background, motivations and fit of the right individual. You will manage and oversee a sizeable portfolio, with the delivery of accounting, taxation and significant planning and business advice, managing staff, workload and budgets. You will develop and build strong relationship with clients, in a client facing capacity, advising on accounting and added value advisory services, alongside overseeing a quality compliance service, developing and leading a support team. Advisory work within the medical sector is significant, involving projects across business and tax planning, remuneration and exit and pension plans, mergers and acquisitions, property related expansions and other wider ranging advisory projects. You will have clear opportunity to progress as a key addition, driving the development and growth of this area of the business across the firm.

Profile

You will hold any of ACA /ACCA/ CTA etc qualified, with a strong background in accountancy practice having developed your career to Senior Manager / Director levels. You will have skills across the range of accounts, tax, advisory and planning skills as a general, all around practitioner. You will be looking for a challenging career move where you can carve a pivotal role, driving the future growth and development of this successful office. Your career will have been developed in any of small, medium/large size, mid tier, or top tier firm background, or you may be looking to relocate to the South West in a long term lifestyle and career move seeking a challenging opportunity in the profession at this level.

Job Offer
