Finance Manager

The ONE Group are currently partnered with progressive SME based in Peterborough and have been tasked with recruiting a Finance Manager.

This is a highly regarded financial service business where exceptional controls, compliance and keeping abreast of regulations are key.

Reporting into the CEO, the role is all encompassing giving your full ownership of the function.

* Drive the improvement and best accounting practices.
* Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments and similar accounting entries.
* Budgeting and forecasting.
* Leading the analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers and presenting findings to the board.
* Managing internal/external Audit
* Continually identify risks to delivery, propose solutions where necessary and effectively manage stakeholder expectations throughout.
* Dealing with working capital management and production of cash flow forecasts.
* Leading the team responsible for payroll, VAT and HMRC processes

The ideal candidate will have a solid background working within the Financial Services sector, be qualified or qualified by experience or hold a relevant degree/qualification in Accountancy/Finance.

In addition to exemplary communication skills you will have the ability to work to challenging deadlines and interact with personnel at all levels.
