The role of Deputy Head of Internal Audit is key in the success of delivering a world class audit service throughout the organisation.

My client is a world leading Public Sector organisation with sites across Wales (and the UK)
Description
Reporting to the local Head of Internal Audit, the Deputy HOIA is key on the delivery of a "best in class" Internal Audit service across the organisation.
You will be based at either the Cardiff , Newport or Carmarthen and will manage a small IA team who are either PQ, newly qualified or with significant PQE.
As well as managing teams and delivering complex and sensitive audits and reviews for which you will be required to research and develop terms of reference that provide the scope and coverage required to meet client objectives.
This is a great opportunity for a CCAB or MIIA qualified Internal Auditor to further develop their career and work in an organisation that has been at the forefront of the UK for over 70 years.
Profile
You will be a CCAB (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA) qualified Accountant or hold the IIA/MIIA qualification.
You will have extensive Internal Audit experience gained in either the Public Sector, NHS or a complex commercial business
You will have excellent people management skills.
You will be able to manage and lead from the front, delivering a "best in class" Internal Audit provision
Job Offer
A salary on the scale of £45700 - £51600
(the role will be offered at the bottom of the scale, however this can be elevated after a pay review after starting in the role).
