Client Details

• Retail business based in Burton Upon Trent

Description

• Work with the relevant dedicated accountant to produce pub P&Ls to the highest quality through booking journals and reviewing P&Ls
• Meet with the Operations Managers and Department Managers on a regular basis to support cost reduction/sales growth initiatives
• Effectively run month end reporting processes, ensuring local reporting software is populated with the periodic reports by the required time lines and supporting a five-day period closure
• Produce outlet specific Budgets and re-forecast P&Ls as required
• Support the Business Reporting Manager to produce Board Exec reporting Packs and daily and weekly sales reporting
• Lead continuous improvements in financial process and controls across the Finance function, performing mini audits to ensure we have the most optimal processes and data is accurate
• Prepare ad-hoc analysis as and when required

Profile

• A Self-motivated individual - able to work on own initiative but also to be flexible in supporting a team
• Previous experience of working to tight deadlines
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of the organisation
• Strong excel
• CIMA/ ACCA qualified
