International Engineering business based in Bradford currently require an experienced, commercially focused CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified Financial Controller to join their organisation at a exiting time of growth for the business.

Due to recent acquisitions this already successful company has seen its order book grow by 30%. As a result this role has been created to facilitate that growth. As Financial Controller you will oversee the monthly management and statutory accounts production pulling together the board pack presentation at month end/year end. You will play a key role in the commercial decisions around continued ambitious growth targets and be expected to liaise with senior Managers/Directors across all divisions advising both of current financial positions and budget forecasts.

You will lead a team of CIMA/ACCA qualified/studying management accountants/financial accounts assigning duties in line with your assessment of their individual skill sets. As the team grows/changes you will also have the opportunity to hire, train and develop others within your division which is predicted to increase by at least 2 heads over the next 12-18 months.

As your experience grows within the business you will have the opportunity to play a key role in interesting projects around systems implementation and further acquisitions.

Ideally you will be CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified with previous experience at Finance Manager/Financial Controller level. Consideration would be given to Senior Management Accountant/Financial Accountants who are looking to make the first move towards a Financial Controller level providing you can demonstrate excellent career achievements to date.
