Assistant Management Accountant - Harrogate

THE COMPANY:

This business is a high growth, highly successful UK market leader in their field, with Head Offices based in Harrogate. The company have experienced unprecedented growth over the last 18 months through multiple acquisitions, and as a result, they are now looking to recruit a brand new Assistant Management Accountant, to join their management accounts team and directly support the Finance Manager.

THE JOB:

This role will report to the Finance Manager, and take responsibility for following key duties:

• Dealing with and resolving client queries
• Update and maintain database
• Week and monthly uploads of data into accounting system
• Bank reconciliations
• Review and maintain debt level across all sites
• Production of monthly financial reporting packs
• Produce and analyse reports
• Payment processing
• Balance sheet reconciliations

THE PERSON:

The successful candidate will:

• Be be currently studying, or looking to study towards ACCA/CIMA - Essential
• Have a minimum of 12 months experience in assisting with management accounts preparation - Essential
• Have a strong knowledge of MS Excel - Essential
• Have previous knowledge of Navision - Desirable
