As Assistant Audit Manager, you will support the Audit Manager with the planning and delivery of audit assignments. As one of the more experienced team members you will provide on the job support and guidance to junior colleagues, dealing with issues and challenges prior to escalation to the manager, who will rely on you to provide feedback from the audit coalface. As aprt of your development plan, you'll have the opportunity over time to take on greater responsibility for planning and budgeting for audits and you level of client exposure will grow in line with this. As the audit practice is expcted to continue to grow, the expectation is that they'll be plenty of headroom for you to grow into.

Profile:

  • A graduate, ACA / ACCA qualified, with proven exxperiance in a Assistant Manager of Senior Audit role in a reputable firm of accountants with large clients.
  • Good technical knowledge of audit techniques and the issues commonly encountered on audits - especially impairement and revenue recognition.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Experience of auditing clients in the conssumer products sector is a definite advantage.
