Salary: £38,000 - £43,000 (dependent on experience) plus excellent benefits

A leading UK sports agency that has worked extensively with major sporting organisations and individuals in their specialist field. Vibrant organisation that has grown significantly and now looking to hire.

Assistant Financial Controller- About the role

Working alongside the UK FC and CEO, duties will include:

• Managing the finance function of a number of different entities
• Managing bank payments, reconciliations and foreign currency accounts
• Production of all quarterly statutory accounts and tax computations 
• Process and pay all supplier invoices, allocating costs to agent cost centres
• Production of budgets and forecasts
• Production of individual agent  profit and loss accounts
• Working with HMRC and producing VAT returns
• Assist with monthly payroll and pension plans 
• Ad hoc tasks as delegated by the FD

Assistant Financial Controller- Candidate requirements:

• Degree educated, and ideally a finalist / qualified ACCA or CIMA
• 4-8 years of proven finance experience 
• Previous experience in a sports related or agency business is ESSENTIAL
• Experience of working within a fast moving, dynamic, international  environment 
• Strong system skills and knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, Quickbooks etc
• An excellent team player with a confident, outgoing personality
• A genuine, passionate interest in sport and football in particular.
