Our client based on the outskirts of Exeter has an immediate requirement to recruit an experienced Management Accountant.
The role will consist of:
- Production & presentation of accurate and high quality monthly management accounts
- Producing detailed budgets and forecasts in collaboration with budget holders and senior management
- Identify and make recommendations to the financial reporting process
- Reconcile VAT monthly and file VAT returns within regulated timescales
- Preparation of the year-end financial statements, preparing the audit file and actively supporting the onsite audit process
Strong system and Excel skills are a must, along with genuine drive, enthusiasm and commitment to improve the effectiveness of management reporting processes.
The successful candidate will be either qualified within ACCA / ACA or CIMA or a finalist, and be comfortable working within a fast paced and busy environment.
