Management Accountant | Huddersfield
£25,000 - £30,000 per year | Study support
A manufacturing business based in Huddersfield is looking for a Management Accountant to join its team for a full-time, permanent role. Ideally you will be part qualified CIMA or ACCA, though other backgrounds will be considered.
Your New Role
Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will help prepare the monthly management accounts, manage a small finance team and provide analysis to help influence business decisions across the group. Key duties of the Management Accountant will include:
- Producing the monthly Management Accounts including the P&L and Balance Sheet.
- Helping with the monthly stock valuation.
- Completing analysis of stock and KPIs.
- Preparation and reconciliation of fixed assets register.
- National sales reporting and analysis.
- Helping with Accruals, payments and Bank reconciliations.
- Managing a ledger team of 2.
About You
Applications are invited from part qualified ACCA and CIMA Accountants who demonstrate experience of handling P&L and Balance sheets within a Manufacturing environment. Other backgrounds will also be considered if you have the right experience and skills.
Salary & Benefits
The Management Accountant will be awarded a salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus great additional benefits including study support.
