Your new firm
A large independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Bolton are looking to appoint an ACA / ACCA newly or recently qualified accountant to join their Corporate Services Team as an Assistant Manager. This opportunity has arisen following internal promotions within the team you will support the Director with the onboarding and management of a portfolio of clients.

Your new role
As an Assistant Manager you will be responsible for the hands on management of a portfolio of OMBs and limited companies both above and below the audit threshold. Your portfolio will be varied but will contain some clients in the property sector and your day to day responsibilities will include providing management accounts, cashflow forecasting, statutory accounts and consolidations along with ad hoc audit work. You will work alongside the director to manage, meet and advise the portfolio.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking an experienced practice trained accountant who is ideally ACA / ACCA / qualified or a finalist and is competent preparing and submitting year end accounts and tax compliance for OMBs. As this is a client facing portfolio manager role you must have strong interpersonal and organisational skills and ideally you will have a proven track record of building and maintaining good relationships with your clients.
