Finance Manager

A Finance Manager is required for a full-time, permanent role with a PE backed manufacturing business based in North Manchester that is experiencing an exciting period of change and development. They are seeking an ambitious and driven Finance Manager with excellent communication and management skills and a strong accounting background.

Your New Role

In this newly created Finance Manager position you will support the Finance Director with the daily running of the finance function. The role includes staff management, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow management, reporting, reviewing controls and processes, managing the preparation of the annual statutory accounts and other statutory reporting.

Main Duties

As the Finance Manager you will be responsible for:

• Managing the day to day running of the finance department
• Budgeting and forecasting
• All areas of the balance sheet
• Cash flow management / cash flow forecasting
• Reporting
• Understanding, reviewing and analysing the management accounts
• Preparation and set up of internal reports and analysis
• Year-end reporting including liaising with the auditors
• Improving controls and processes where necessary
• Development of the team
• Managing the preparation of the annual statutory accounts

About You

• Experience within a Finance Manager or similar position

• Excellent excel skills
• Manufacturing experience is essential

Salary

On offer for the Finance Manager will be a salary of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
