Group Statutory Accounts Manager

5-6 month initial contract with a global business.

Key role leading the year-end and audit process.

My client is a global business going through a huge transformation. They are looking to bring someone into a business with a very Strong culture, people that want to work well with the rest of the team and continuously develop.

Description

The role needs someone that can support the business through year-end and be responsible for producing the statutory accounts. The role will require the following:

- Production of the statutory accounts and complex disclosures

- Liaising with the auditors

- IFRS knowledge is essential

- Multi-currency consolidation is vital

- Financial statement preparation

- Acquisition accounting is very beneficial

- IFRS16 exposure

- Business partnering with the tax and treasury teams

- Improve internal and external reporting

- Strong excel required

Profile

The successful candidate will have worked in a complex, multi-national environment and been responsible for consolidating the group accounts. The successful person will work closely with the senior leaders and must present with confidence.

Job Offer

The successful candidate will secure between £70,000 - £80,000 on a fixed term contract basis for around 5 months initially.
