Finance Director

An expanding creative organisation based in Merseyside is looking to recruit a dynamic, forward thinking Finance Director to join its friendly, forward thinking team that continues to enjoy a journey of successful growth. This is a full-time, permanent role.

Your New Role

Key duties of the Finance Director will include:

• Managing a small team of 3 finance staff.
• Overseeing FM, Legal, H&S and compliance functions.
• Providing strategic consultation to MD and senior management team to align with growth plans.
• Managing risk within the business both financially and legally.
• Managing company-wide budgetary planning.
• Overseeing, reviewing, and adhering to the budgets for each company department.
• Analysing the financial climate and market trends to assist in creating strategic plans.
• Interpreting complex financial information and provide updates and information.
• Monitoring cash flow, project profitability, and other financial information.
• Collating the monthly management information for discussion with the senior management team including presenting information.
• Reviewing tools, systems and reporting to ensure the company is provided with the right information.
• Oversight of the operations team, helping to drive efficiencies and ensure smooth running of that side of the business.

About You

Applications to this Finance Director role are invited from ACA, ACCA and CIMA qualified Accountants who demonstrate:

• Exposure to costing and experience working within a professional services organisation.
• Experience supporting a business in corporate negotiations.
• Strong financial modelling skills and risk assessment / management experience.
• The ability to motivate the team, enthusiasm and no fear to roll up your sleeves in order to drive high standards.

Salary

On offer for the Finance Director will be £75,000 - £85,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
