Hotel Financial Controller

Part Time, Permanent - 20 hours a week

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 pro rata

We are currently seeking a Financial Controller to join our hotel client based in the heart of Manchester city centre. This is a newly created role due to a re-structuring in the business so an exciting time to join this £10m t/o company who have navigated well over the last 6 months.

Reporting into the CFO, your duties include but are not limited to:

• Preparation of the monthly management accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Cash flow forecasting
• Preparing budgets
• Managing the preparation of the annual statutory accounts, VAT returns and other statutory reporting
• Overseeing the production of all management information, improving the accuracy, efficiency, and relevance
• Providing financial guidance to finance and non-finance team members
• Overseeing cashiering / purchasing within the hotel
• Ensuring compliance with legislation and internal controls across the business
• Working with Operations teams to drive hotel performance

Ideal candidate:

• Previous experience working in the hotel industry is a must
• Good communications skills
• 5 years accountancy experience
