Axon Moore are working exclusively with a large successful organisation based in North Manchester who are looking for an Interim Accountant to come in and assist with year-end statutory accounts.
Duties:
The location for the role is North Manchester with some travel as required to regional offices. At present, the entire team is working remotely from home.
Duties:
- Preparation of year end statutory accounts, with supporting notes and schedules – subsidiary and consolidated entities
- Support year end and month end closing
- Assisting with year-end audit queries
- Balance Sheet Reconciliation reviews, and escalation of issues to Financial Controller
- Regularly review accounting processes to ensure the best level of efficiency and controls are in place at all times
- An ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant with strong technical skills
- Practice trained or experience of preparing statutory accounts in a large complex business
- Previous in-depth experience of preparing statutory accounts in a complex environment with multiple legal entities
- Good understanding of FRS, IFRS and UK GAAP
- Strong Excel skills
- An ability to work in a fast-paced busy environment
