Overview of Role:

The Global Finance Data Migration and Integration Manager (FTC) is pivotal to the success of the programme and the skills required are those considered to be of a pragmatic, technical and application nature. The role will have the following areas of focus:

Data Migration – Supporting and driving through the Master Data migration requirements and transactional data migration requirements utilising the approved NetSuite templates.  Being cognizant that Stakeholders of the relevant sites will not necessarily be of a technical level and being able to support them through the process.  We should never look to just email templates out and expect stakeholders to be able to understand them and complete them independently
 

Data Integration - This is predominantly around the capture and understanding of the data that is required to be migrated/integrated to maintain appropriate levels of control but looking to automate effectively and as quickly as possible.  Ensuring that the scope of the data to be integrated is clear, understood and documented. Work with SnapLogic resource to build the approved integrations with strong error handling capabilities

Documentation – ensuring that all appropriate documentation is built and maintained to achieve a robust repeatable process for each deployment with the relevant version controls being in place.  The documentation needs to be at a consistent and detailed level that will meet the requirements around controls and risks and understanding of how data will be migrated or integrated with Netsuite.  This should also have descriptives as to what the purpose of the data is and what the consequences will be if the data is not cleansed, complete or accurate
 

Testing – building out the System Integration Testing Criteria and scripts to ensure that there is an appropriate level of testing carried out for all of the relevant migration and integration elements.  These should also be able to be utilised from a regression testing perspective for the regular maintenance upgrades
 

Continuous Improvement and Business as Usual – Recognising and recording the future opportunities for continuous improvement and future integration potential for further automation.  Always maintaining the integrity of the agreed scope for each phase of the programme and the integrity of the Global Template

Candidate Profile:

This role requires a Data Migration and Integration expert, who has specifically worked on a finance data migration (non-negotiable) as the understanding of PLC’s Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Sales Ledger Functions and specific CSV Formatting is paramount.

Candidates will need to have strong experience of working with NetSuite and ideally have delivered a Finance Data Migration into NetSuite (as this is the core objective). It’s important to have worked across a global environment as the project will extend to Europe, Latam, South East Asia and the US.

You will need also need strong stakeholder management, presentation and negotiation experience, this role will be working with members of the senior finance community (core team), global finance transformation team, 3^rd party advisory and consulting firms, and will be expected to join steering committees, where you could be called to speak, challenge or present a business case.

As outlined above, this role requires experience/seniority, however it also requires a very hands-on approach, there is budget for a data analyst to support the Data Migration and Integration Manager, however you will be directly leading on the delivery.

Key Requirements:

• Successfully delivered a finance driven data migration project, capturing accounts payable, accounts receivable, sales ledger.
• Experience of working with NetSuite and ideally delivering a data migration into NetSuite
• European, International or Global Experience within a PLC environment
