Our client is a national and international Top 10 firm of chartered accountants who have an incredible reputation. They have a very strong presence in Kent and across the UK, and they are now looking for either a Corporate Tax or Mixed tax Partner to join their team in an exciting opportunity where they are offering a fantastic remuneration package and career opportunity.

Description

As a dynamic Tax Partner, you will be managing a portfolio of owner manages businesses, overseeing the compliance and advisory process. You will manage the corporate tax team by hearing the voice of your team members, conduct appraisals, provide coaching of assignments to support the development of team skills and knowledge and continually improve the quality and delivery of work. As part of your own development you will establish strong working relationships with your own portfolio of clients through assignments and regular contact, including attending client meetings. Given the nature of the client base a holistic approach and mixed tax background would be suitable as well as somebody from a corporate tax background.

Profile

As you will be the mentor to a number of our family members, previous Corporate Tax or Mixed Tax experience in a similar role within a practice environment is advantageous.

You will have a strong technical knowledge and have the ability to carry out research into complex areas of tax legislation.

You will be ACA/ACCA or CTA qualified with extensive experience within an accountancy practice.
