Group Finance Manager required for a leading international business based in Mirfield which is commutable from Halifax, Huddersfield, Leeds and Bradford. Furthermore the client is offering the successful candidate the opportunity to work from home two days a week once the UK have got through Covid19.

Please note in order to be considered for this role you will need to be ACA/ACCA qualified having gained experience in a group reporting role with several subsidiaries.
Role Overview:
- Manage financial performance effectively by ensuring robust financial controls are in place. Controls should cover budgets and forecasts, revenue and margin reporting, and cost centre reporting for overheads.
- Management of the month-end financial reporting process to ensure management accounts are produced in a timely manner meeting all financial reporting deadlines.
- Production of Group consolidated financial statements including the detailed monthly management accounts and associated financial reports for each Group company, illustrating relevant and incisive commentary on the financial performance against budget and forecast highlighting key operational drivers of performance and variances to budget or forecast.
- Manage the preparation and review of monthly reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts, to ensure all accounts are accurately reconciled. Review monthly cash forecasts setting out key assumptions, sensitivities and commentary on variances to previous forecasts to ensure movements are fully understood.
- Support the building and submission of annual budgets, including ad-hoc forecasts. Maintain an organized approach throughout remaining to the strict deadlines.
- Manage the annual audit process ensuring accurate and timely provision of information to the Company's auditors and tax advisors. Compilation of internal and Statutory Year-end Financial Statements to meet reporting timeframes.
- Ensure the compliance and filing of Statutory Financial Statements to Companies House and corporate tax returns to HMRC, by working with external providers of legal, accounting, audit and other professional advice.
- Monitor and report the performance of the business, analyzing financial data, trends and understanding key variances, reporting the same by exception as required.
To be considered for this role you will have the following:

- High technical accounting skills;
- Experience of producing statutory accounts;
- Excellent people management skills;
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation-based communications skills;
- Experience of successfully managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
- Experience in developing standards and procedures; and
- Excellent skills and experience presenting to board level.
