Financial Controller

Financial Controller required to take the number 2 finance role within a well established construction business. Supporting the Head of Finance you will lead the day to day management of the finance team. You will be responsible for the delivery of both financial and management accounting as well as involvement in a number of key projects. This will range from the development of their management reporting pack to upgrading their finance system. You will also take responsibility for sub contractor payments, CIS returns and any other ad hoc work.

To be considered for this role you must have experience of the construction sector, as well as hold a relevant accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, ACMA or equivalent). You will understand various areas of accountancy regulations in relation to the construction sector and previous systems upgrade or implementation experience would be a strong advantage.

My client is a large construction group with a strong track record of success. This role sits within one of their key divisions that offer a broad range of construction services. My client seeks candidates of the calibre who are able to step up to the number one role in 2 years time.

My client is looking for somebody to be based in the office rather than remote working.
