Group Finance Manager

Salary: £60k-£70k

Location: London/remote working

Ignata Finance are representing a privately owned, £50m t/o business, for the recruitment of a Group Finance Manager. You will take full responsibility for the reporting across the business, and manage key relationships with stakeholders across the business, supporting decision making and managing a small team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the production of accurate financial reporting
• Produce annual Group accounts and support schedules in line with agreed audit timetable
• Treasury management for the group, including supporting the credit function through business partnering; multi-year cash flow forecasting; automated secure payment run processes
• Responsibility for finance procedures and policies related to group accounting and embedding these across the finance function
• Tax management for the group including VAT
• Line management of one Management Accountant and one Treasury Officer, providing clear direction, support, coaching
• Support the annual budgeting process
• To manage external stakeholder relationships with HMRC/Bank/Auditors
• To ensure financial reporting is in place and monitored effectively

Skills and experience required:

• ACCA or ICAEW Qualified Accountant
• Excellent Relationship Management Skills
• Influencing skills – motivating teams and individuals
• Excellent planning skills and ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
• Analytical thinker with good problem-solving skills
• Excellent and up to date accountancy, tax and compliance experience.
• Strategic thinker and innovative – willing to try new ideas and test new ways of doing things
