Permanent Role 

AML Consultancy is assisting a leading global law firm, with major corporate offices based in the North of England, in their search for a hire into a newly created role of International Project Accountant.

As part of a major transformation program, they are looking to the market for an experience senior finance professional to come into cover a wide-ranging set of responsibilities such as: -

• Leading the team on several confidential projects
• Managing those projects and reporting the progress to the Board
• Taking responsibility for the transference of vital financial information across the worldwide group
• Ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met
• Increasing efficiencies within the billing system

The skills and attributes required for success are as follow: -

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualification
• At least 3 years post qualification experience, ideally within a large business environment (Legal preferable)
• Project management experience
• Strong technical accounting skills including knowledge of group accounts
• The capability to engage senior stakeholders and to build rapport with them in Finance and across the other areas
• The ability to challenge current practices and to work with the Board on improvements
• The willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
