Senior Finance Business Partner

Elevation Senior Finance are delighted to be supporting a leading retail business based in South Yorkshire as they seek to appoint a dynamic and ambitious Senior Finance Business Partner to take up this newly created position.

My client is a well-known and highly desirable local employer and has seen significant growth and opportunity during the last 12 months. With ambitious plans over the coming years, they are entering an exciting stage in their transformation process and as such are looking to strengthen their commercial finance team with the addition of a Senior Finance Business Partner.

The key business partner role will act as the finance lead for one of the company's key divisions and work closely with the Divisional Managing Director in driving performance, understanding key business drivers and providing relevant financial information and analysis to support strategic decision making.

With all monthly and statutory reporting being done centrally, the successful Senior FBP will be given the freedom to focus on adding value and will be expected to dedicate their time to business partnering and being proactive in supporting their division. In addition, due to the change and transformation the business is currently going through, there will also be interesting project work to get involved with as the company continues on its growth journey.

With that in mind, my client is looking to bring in a confident, ambitious and experienced Finance Business Partner who thrives when engaging with stakeholders and has an awareness and ability to quickly build strong working relationships with a variety of different characters and personalities. In addition, we are looking for someone with a pro-active approach, who will use their initiative to help drive improvements within their division and collaborate effectively with the rest of the commercial finance team.
