CFO

We are currently handling the CFO search for a high growth Private Equity backed Digital Media / Publishing business. The business has performed very well throughout 2020 and will continue to grow both organically and via M&A before an exit in the next few years. 

As a member of the Board and working as a business partner to the CEO and wider management team, the CFO will be a strategic but hands on operator with a broad remit. Responsibilities will include; 

• Supporting the CEO in developing strategy and delivering the growth plan
• Develop KPI's for the business and provide regular and insightful management information, forecasts, analysis and commentary to the Board and private equity investors
• Manage cash-flow and the cost-base to support growth within budget
• Develop and optimise the accounting, process and controls, and lead on IT & systems implementation to enhance efficiency 
• Support on M&A activities
• Managing and developing a high performance finance team

The incoming CFO must be commercially astute with strong communications skills. They will have previously managed a high growth and profitable mid sized business, ideally within the Digital Media / Publishing sectors or closely aligned sectors. Private Equity experience is not essential but would be desirable.
