Finance Manager - Real Estate - OUR CLIENT is an award-winning real estate investment management firm with a strong track record and capital base. They have a number of successful funds and continue to launch new funds with strong backing and investor appetite for their products. THE ROLE: Now they seek to recruit a Finance Manager, who will be focussed on the preparation of management accounts for segregated mandates, core and value-add real estate funds and separate accounts. The individual will be working in a small finance team, supporting and working alongside their Finance and operations heads. The role will cover the following responsibilities:
- Monthly management accounting.
- Preparing yearend financial statements and liaising with auditors on audits.
- Manging Cash flow and P&L forecasts.
- Preparing VAT returns.
- Insurance procurement and liaison.
- FCA and risk compliance reporting.
- Assisting with investor reporting.
- Debt origination support and bank reporting.
- Potential to assist with capital raising as well as Environmental, Social and Governance objectives.
THE PERSON: The successful candidate is expected to be a qualified accountant (ACA preferred but also ACCA) with 2-3 years of post-qualified experience, preferably gained in the real estate sector. Strong candidates from a top / upper tier practice will also be considered Strong Excel skills are a must. The incumbent should be a good communicator with strong analytical and organisational skills, being able to work in a team as well as independently maintaining and adding value to the company's growth. Working in a small team, the individual will have a great opportunity to build a wide range of experience within the role and develop a personal career.
