Commercial Management Accountant

A rapidly expanding retail company based in Knaresborough currently requires a Commercial Management Accountant to join its senior accounts team. Offered on a full-time, permanent basis, this is a newly created position in a quickly expanding, well known business, and will be brilliant for anyone looking to add real value to the business overall.

Your New Role

Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will undertake a varied, project driven role. Your main duties as the new Management Accountant will include:

• Producing management accounts for the company
• Acting as a commercial lead within finance
• Attending monthly management meetings
• Suggesting ways of improving company performance and highlighting any ways in which the business can gain further market share

About You

Ideally you will be in the final stages of studying towards your CIMA / ACCA qualification or be recently qualified. Applications to this Commercial Management Accountant role should also demonstrate:

• 2+ years’ all-round management accounts experience
• Good commercial exposure
• High levels of ambition and drive to further your career

Salary & Benefits

On offer for the Management Accountant will be:

• £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience
