Our client, a Blue Chip FinTech organisation has a requirement for a Finance Director. They are a modern financial services business set up to support the growing decentralised economy. Key accountabilities include:
*To manage and develop the financial control environment
*To ensure adherence to all external and Group financial compliance processes
*To coordinate and challenge the Business Planning for the business
*To enhance internal and external financial reporting - ensuring the performance of the business is clearly articulated
*To manage and develop the payroll team - ensuring a compliant and efficient function
*Owning the Business Plan, budget and forecast processes; supporting the MD to set challenging but achievable financial targets
*Delivering smooth processes; setting realistic timetables to meet reporting obligations
* Providing relevant and consistent financial information, arranging management reviews and ensuring approved plans
The successful applicant will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) with several years' PQE, including extensive Financial Accounting / Reporting and Budgeting experience. Experience of working with in a growing Fintech business, securing business funding / investment, a strong track record of delivering and improving month end close processes and the production of financial plans is essential. Advantageous would be proficiency with Financial Accounting and Reporting systems.
