The client is looking to recruiting an experienced Site Accountant from a manufacturing background to manage the day to day finances for the Site.
About the role
As the Site Accountant, you will report directly into the Finance Director and will Business Partner with the wider management team. You will be responsible for producing management accounts for the business, running the month end process in line with the group.

Main Duties
- Produce monthly management accounts
- Run month end process in line with group
- Financial analysis explaining margin and cost line
- Balance sheet reviews
- Finance Business Partnering
- Producing analysis for new product trials
- Potential capex projects in terms of payback.
- Ensuring that financial controls are robust and compliant
- Financial controls and process improvements
- KPI management with the view to develop and improve
- Budget and forecasting
- Fixed cost analysis, stock analysis
- Planning and analysing maintenance and capex plans
- Commercial awareness on pricing and product costing
- Debtor and Creditor reviews
- Working capital control,
- Cost control and cash focus
- Oversee and monitor transactional finance including AP, AR and Payroll
- Liaise with external Auditors
- Vat returns
Person specification
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified Accountant
- Experience in working within a Manufacturing business
- Experience within a similar role is essential
- Costing knowledge is essential
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong excel skills
- Ability to suggest improvements and efficiencies
- Initiative – problem solving and desire to improve
- Committed, proactive, collaborative and confident attitude
