An established and growing organization is currently looking for a recently qualified Financial Accountant to join its ranks in a varied and challenging role. Your New Role
As the new Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for performing assurance activities across a range of financial processes and controls, both internal and within third party organisations. There will be work to do within central finance and plenty of involvement in internal and external projects.
Your key duties will include:
- Performing assurance activities, including process walkthroughs and financial controls testing, over key stakeholders.
- Working closely with Internal Audit colleagues in relation to third party assurance, with an opportunity to support IT General Controls testing and data analysis.
- Performing internal financial controls testing over financial accounting processes.
- Reporting and presenting findings on assurance activities to key stakeholders and senior personnel.
- Assisting with projects to support the Financial Reporting Controls environment, such as implementing new controls self-assessment software
- Assisting the wider Central Finance team with ad hoc analysis, problem solving and reconciliations.
