A well established and successful public sector client in Chesterfield is looking to recruit an experienced, qualified Accountant for a brand new and exciting Internal Audit Manager role. Offered on a full-time, permanent basis, this role will have an array of internal and external facing audit duties, alongside a variety of project work.
Your New Role
Key responsibilities of the Internal Audit Manager will include:
- Performing third party assurance activities focused on IT controls and data analysis, with a keen eye needed to support enhanced data analytics.
- Sitting in the IA team but working closely with the wider Group finance team, you will delve into the depths of industry finance - delivering integrated assessments of controls and procedures both inwardly and outwardly facing.
- Providing process walkthroughs, controls testing and a wide range of analysis.
- Reporting and presenting your findings to key stakeholders and senior personal, allowing plenty of opportunity for personal exposure within the organisation.
About You
Applications to this Audit Manager position should demonstrate:
- There is a big IT focus on this role, so experience within an IT audit background is advantageous.
- The ability to evaluate business processes and IT technology, identifying risks and evaluating controls.
- The desire to progress your career and challenge those above you in the organisation.
