This is an exciting and varied commercially-focused Finance Manager role with an exceptional growing SME based in Peterborough. The role will incorporate Finance Business Partnering, Management Accounting and Financial Accounting whilst working closely with the CEO.

Description
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Overall control of the company's finance function
- Supplier and contract management, providing regular updates to the Management Board
- Overall responsibility for all financial transactions and accountancy matters, including audit, systems, tax, VAT analysis and reporting
- Prepare/review of monthly management accounts for business and and external stake holders
- supporting the board with strategies and planning to grow the business
- Lead and manage the annual budget process and taking initiatives in controlling costs appropriately
- Manage the statutory audit process and secure approval of the statutory accounts
- Complete monthly management reports - P&L against budget, balance sheet, sales, debtors
- Manage cash flow reporting and forecasting
- Produce and review monthly cost / margin analysis
- Manage all aspects of accounts receivable & accounts payable processes
- To be a leader in the business, positively motivate team members and represent the business in a way that enhances client perceptions
Profile
Experience and Qualifications Expected
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent (min 5 years post qualified)
- Strong understanding of investments, fund and products within the Financial Service industry
- Strong PC skills including Excel, relevant accounting package
- Well established problem-solving skills
- Strong analytic ability
- Excellent computer skills, particularly Excel
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
- Experience managing finance across multiple entities
- Experience in developing and implementing best practice finance systems and processes
