Payroll Administrator

One of the UK's industry leading businesses is on the lookout for a Payroll Administrator to join its team in Chesterfield for a full-time, permanent role.

You'll be joining the payroll team of a developing, fast-paced business within a role that offers flexibility in your approach and method of working.

What will you be doing?

Key duties of the Payroll Coordinator will include:

• Responsibility for processing the organisation's payroll in a timely and accurate manner
• Creating and maintaining employees' payroll records
• Calculating wages and applicable deductions based on employee attendance and timesheet records
• Entering payroll information into the central system for processing and issuing employees' checks and earnings summaries
• Assisting the review and balance of the month end payroll as well as taking part in month end reporting
• Auto enrolment processing and administration

To be successful in your application to this Payroll Administrator role, you'll need to be the kind of person that can work as part of a team and automatously in a payroll environment. You should demonstrate:

• Exceptional attention to detail and organisation skills
• The ability to work under pressure and keep to tight deadlines
• Detailed knowledge of payroll systems, taxation, national insurance and pension's administration
• The ability to prepare and submit monthly and annual returns to HMRC
