Interim group financial accounting consultant
An interim group financial accounting consultant is required for a globally listed business based in central London. This role would suit an interim professional with a wealth of group finance experience who can guide finance through year-end along with some key projects.
Playing a key role in the growing finance team, this is a highly varied role tasked with managing accounting, reporting and projects across the Group.
Responsibilities could include:
·Ownership of the consolidation process, including preparation of consolidation adjustments for the retranslation of foreign operations, other eliminations and posting of final entries into ledgers
·Producing of consolidated monthly management accounts, including balance sheet and cash flow
·Responsibility for maintaining the books of holding companies, including accounting for debt finance
·Providing the business with clear technical accounting advice, including translation of Foreign Operations, Lease Accounting and Derivatives.
·Drive forward and maintain the Group Accounting policy manual, including assessing the impact on the Group of changes to accounting standards
·Ideally ACA Qualified (or equivalent)
·Previous exposure to the review or preparation of complex group consolidation processes
