Finance Manager

Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a leading SME in Barnsley in sourcing a Qualified/Qualified by experience Finance Manager to join their Senior Management Team reporting and working closely with the Managing Director.

The business are looking for a reliable, experienced, self-motivated individual to run and administer all the financial aspects of both businesses.

The ideal candidate will be able to manage their workload and meet the needs of both businesses, liaising with the external accountants and reporting to the Managing Director.

The Finance Manager is required to manage all administrative and financial functions, and will be responsible for:

·Processing sales invoices onto the system
·Preparing the Monthly Management information pack
·Balance sheet reconciliations
·Analysing P&L and explaining variances
·Monthly Journals
·Bank reconciliations
·Cashflow
·Posting Purchase Ledger Invoices
·Creating Sales Ledger Invoices
·Overseeing 2 people (Sales/Admin & Payroll)
·VAT Return
·Dealing with and ensuring Invoicing is correctly dealt with
·Any other adhoc Finance duties
