Our Exeter based client is looking to recruit an experienced Financial Controller into their team.
This is a high profile position within the Finance Team, and will be responsible for maintaining the finance function of the business, whilst developing business & reporting processes.
This role will initially report into the Finance Director, however will develop over time into being the primary role for Finance.
Ideally the successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with either CIMA / ACCA or ACA and have previous manufacturing experience at a similar level.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and development of standard processes and controls
- Production of the monthly management accounts process, including investigation and interpretation of results
- Management of the finance department and teams, including relationship building with the senior management of all departments
- Commercial Analysis with the guidance of the Finance Director, along with supporting in the development of new business opportunities and improvement projects
