A regional firm of Chartered Accountants with offices across the North West are looking to appoint an ACA / ACCA finalist or newly qualified accountant as an Audit & Accounts Senior in their head offices just on the outskirts of Manchester City Centre. This is a great opportunity for a newly qualified accountant or finalist to take the next step in their career which can offer long term career progression to RI.

Your new role
As an Audit & Accounts Senior you will join the corporate services team and take the lead on a range of audit and accounting assignments. Your portfolio will be varied but predominantly you will be working with OMBs with turnovers ranging from 5mill - 60mill along with UK subsidiaries and group structures. Day to day you will manage the on site audit teams, finalise financial statements and corporation tax computations and act as a key client facing contact for your client base.

Overtime your management responsibilities will increase along with the size of your portfolio and you will progress to an Audit Manager and then on to RI.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking a newly qualified or ACA / ACCA finalist or recently qualified accountant who is competent operating as a senior and has strong audit exposure in their current role (at least 40%). Your role will be predominantly client facing and will contain people management and therefore you must be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.

There is excellent career progression through to management for the successful candidate and therefore to be successful you must be able to demonstrate ambition and a good work ethic.
